When to wait for hail?
- If a large thundercloud turns into a fungus – hail is more than possible. The larger the mushroom in height – the greater the likelihood of hail.
- The clouds are stratified, and the upper layers deviate to the left, with respect to the lower layers – a harbinger of hail.
- The city is portended by white stripes and gray ragged clouds along the edges of the epicenter of a thunderstorm – a powerful thundercloud.
- Large blue-and-black clouds, especially white in the midst of such dark clusters, are clear harbingers of hail.
